:
If the water tank indicator is ON steadily it means that:
- The water tank is empty or not fitted correctly. Press it down firmly and ensure there is enough water (Level MAX);
- The water sensor may not detect the water level properly, or the water tank is not clean. Clean the inside of the water tank and pat dry the sensor area on the back panel.

~ 5 times before turning off:
When pressing "Espresso" or "2xEspresso" the machine makes some noise but the water does not come out even if the water tank is full AND I see the water tank light blinking a few times before turning off. What can I do?

- Take away the portafilter and place a cup underneath and Press "Espresso":
If water comes out normally, try the following:- The coffee powder you are using might be grounded too fine and is blocking the water. Make sure you are using a coffee powder specific for Espresso;
- Ensure you are adding the correct amount of coffee powder (1 scoop with the single filter and 2 scoops with the double filter). Using too much powder may block water from flowing correctly;
- Do not use excessive pressure when tamping the coffee powder in the filter as it prevents the correct water flow.
- The filter and portafilter might be dirty, preventing proper water flow. Clean them thoroughly.
This brief blinking of the water tank light is programmed to appear up to 4 times before the machine prompts the following light combination:
2.2 The water tank light is blinking
and the Espresso light is ON
:
If you still managed to make the adjustments listed in chapter 2.1 and received this light combination, it could be that there is some air in the water circuit. Try the following:
- Check the position of the water tank and ensure there is water inside.
- Remove the portafilter;
- Press the Espresso button and wait for the delivery to stop. This way, the air will come out.
Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for the machine's well-being. Ensure you clean it thoroughly and descale the appliance when prompted by the machine.
